Singer Shekhinah recently dropped her much-anticipated sophomore album, Trouble in Paradise.
The singer dropped the 12-track album on Friday and features artists such as Bey T, Una Rams and Luke Goliath.
Shekhinah takes her fans through a journey of pain, loss, recovery and acceptance. The album is all about focusing on self-love and overcoming heartbreak.
The album also includes the singer’s popular tracks, Fixate and Tides.
In a statement from Sony Music, Shekhinah explained that the album “explores the reality of life without all the filters”.
“(The) body of work takes us through waves of pain, loss, recovery, and, finally, the acceptance of what her life has become,” read the statement.
On Monday, the singer took to social media to thank fans for their support.
“Thank you so much for the love this weekend, “she said. She went on to say, “Please keep streaming, lemme know what song needs a music video”.
